A colorful new collection from the ENVOY Network will launch just days after a Bored Ape NFT Collection was sold at auction for $24.4 Million. Alien Samurai Dino Warriors is a joint effort by Dimitri “Vegas”, an EDM DJ, and Michael Uslan, a Batman movie producer.
The Alien Samurai Dino Warriors NFT Collection will be a prelude for Thivaios’ graphic novel series of that name. This is the third NFT collection to drop on ENVOY. It follows Decentraboard’s launch, which was the first NFT-curated billboard in the crypto industry.
Superstar DJ Meets Samurai Dino
Dmitri Thivaios is a world-renowned EDM DJ, thanks to his collaboration with brother Michael. Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike are the names of the duo who have headlined many festivals and hosted DJ residencies on Ibiza. They collaborate with artists like Fatboy Slim and Armin van Buuren. But now, “Vegas,” is focusing his attention on what he calls The DinoVerse.
The DJ says that Dino Warriors is a very special project. It is based on my passion for 1980s cartoons and comics. I have been working on this project for some time, so it was exciting to see how this could be turned into an NFT-powered powerhouse using the ENVOY Network. This allows us to transform those NFTs into keys that unlock amazing content, and be much more than an asset.
Thivaios, along with American DJ Steve Aoki and Like Mike, is part of the supergroup 3 Are Legend. Thivaios enlisted Emmy-winning TV and film producer Michael Uslan to help him bring his Dino Warriors vision to life. Uslan’s credits include all Batman films since Tim Burton’s 1989 reboot.
While many aspects of the DinoVerse are being kept secret until publication of the graphic novel, the soon to be released NFT collection includes moving 3D statues and trading cards of the five Dino Warriors. The Collector Tiers are divided into Diamond, Gold and Silver as well as Community.
Are Dino NFTs the Next Viral Hit for the Market?
Alien Samurai Dino Warriors’ creative team includes Uslan and Erik Burnham, a renowned cartoonist (Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and Heather Antos, Marvel Comics editor.
Antos reflected on her work with Thivaios, and others.
“It is always thrilling to work alongside passionate creators. Dimitri is one of the most passionate comic creators I have ever met. Dino Warriors is a perfect combination of action and humor that will appeal to both new and old readers. This team is amazing and I couldn’t be happier to be part of it.”
The graphic novel NFT series is due to be released in September. It comes at a time of NFTs’ boom: sales in August alone surpassed $1 million. It’s no surprise that ENVOY Network was recently able to raise $2.5 million from a group of experienced investors.
