ESPN Enters NFT Game With Tom Brady

The Entertainment and Sports Programming Network has partnered with NFL legend Tom Brady in order to launch a NFT collection on Polygon.

Polygon Announces ESPN NFT Fall

The launch of an NFT collection via the Polygon network was one of the first actions of the multiyear agreement between ESPN and Tom Brady’s NFT startup Autograph.

Yesterday, Polygon announced the news via Twitter.

“Tom Brady is in the house!” ESPN signs #poweredbyPolygon the first ever NFT deal Today’s 3PM ET drop includes 3 limited edition NFT covers titled “Man in the Arena”. This collection includes 50 editions signed by the goat himself.

Brady Documentary: NFTs Inspiring

This collection is ESPN’s first venture in the NFT games and will be based upon the ESPN Films docuseries “Man in the Arena – Tom Brady”. Yesterday’s NFTs were released on DraftKing Marketplace. This is the exclusive marketplace for Autograph’s sports and entertainment NFT platform Autograph. Three magazine covers are featured in the collection. 250 editions can be purchased at $100 each and 100 at $250 each. 50 editions can also be digitally signed by Brady for $500 each. A second NFT collection, based on Brady, will be launched as part of the partnership later in the month. The collection will be live alongside the last episode of the docuseries. It is currently available on several platforms.

Brady’s NFT Startup Signs Athletes

Autograph has worked with many celebrities from the entertainment and sports industries. Autograph has worked with many celebrities, including Tiger Woods and Wayne Gretzky, Simone Biles (Tony Hawk), Naomi Osaka, Naomi Osaka and Tony Hawk. Although ESPN isn’t the only sports media company to be involved in the NFT game it is one of the most prominent.

Dillon Rosenblatt, co-founder of Autograph and CEO, spoke out about the partnership with ESPN in a statement.

Brady-Bundchen – Power Couple In Crypto

Tom Brady is a long-time participant in the crypto industry, having co-founded Autograph. Previously, he and Gisele Bundchen, his wife, had partnered with FTX Trading Limited to acquire an equity stake and make a multi-million dollar charitable donation each year. Gisele was also appointed Head of Environmental & Social Initiatives for FTX in order to decrease the company’s carbon footprint, promote equality and diversity at work.
