Mollà’s Masks: Artist Teams Up With Raini & Krew Studies for NFT Drop

Jordi Molla, actor and artist, is renewing his association with Raini and Krew Studios after he sold his “I will Flood You with My Flowers” NFT.

Molla, who has starred in Jack Ryan, Bad Boys II and Blow, will be collaborating with NFT to host a Masks NFT drop. The collection includes a variety of digital masks that were hand-painted by the self taught Spanish artist. The drop is scheduled for December 8.

The Secret History of Molla’s Masks

Molla, an actor, has worn many different faces. The collection was inspired by the characters and personas we all share in our daily interactions. A total of 10,000 masks were 3D-rendered and animated, with tokenization. Some received physical as well digital redemption rights. The mint will be available for presale starting at 8 pm UTC on Wednesday, December 8, with a public sale beginning at 10 PM UTC.

Molla’s winner received five whitelist spots in the new collection and an invitation to the Krew Studios NFT event on December 4. Art Basel Miami Beach is an annual Art Week event that will inform attendees about the many ways Augmented Reality (AR/VR), tech is being integrated into the forthcoming drop.

Krew Studios, a new NFT launchpad is actively seeking exclusive artist and gallery partnerships. This partnership seeks to bridge between digital and physical art. The Studio distributed 50 Members Only whitelist passes prior to the Masks drop to community members. These pass holders have access to future Krew drops and events, including the Masks party, community voting and airdrops.

In addition to 50 golden tickets, 1,000 Studio Discord members were also whitelisted for Masks NFT sales. The Krew team has encouraged the public to join Discord to obtain their whitelist privileges.

Raini’s products include yield farming, play-to-earn trading cards games, and a curated marketplace and nft launchpad. It also provides token stakers special access to the sale. 500 mask NFTs are available for those who provide liquidity or stake $RAINI through the platform’s Unicorn and Rainbow pool.

Art World Disruption

The worlds of art, NFTs and synergies are continuing to grow. Commentators are now asking whether Quarter 3’s trade volume ($10.7billion) will be eclipsed in Quarter 4.

The disruptive impact of blockchain on the traditional art market was one of the most important stories of the year. It brought works to the attention a wider audience of buyers and provided a tangible use-case of distributed ledger technology (DLT).

After selling his tokenized work, The First 5,000 Days, for $69 Million at Christie’s in March, digital creator Beeple became third-richest living artist. This event attracted unprecedented interest from NFT collectors and consortiums millionaires as well as artists looking to use blockchain to express their creativity.
