Snoop Dogg revealed that he is the one behind CozomoMedici. A Twitter personality and NFT collector, CozomoMedici has an NFT collection worth over 17 million. He has now announced that he has partnered up with The Sandbox.
The Sandbox, an Ethereum-based metaverse game, allows users to share and customize their experiences in a 3D environment.
A custom-designed environment
Snoop Dogg announced that he would create a custom-themed environment for the game. This will include playable Snoop avatars and a mansion with lots of marijuana-themed imagery. Additional NFT drops are planned, as well as an in-game concert.
The news was made public Wednesday night when Snoop Dogg tweeted to his followers to tell them to “follow the wallet”. A further glance at OpenSea’s CozomoMedici wallet revealed that the Snoop Dogg Party Pass had been created by The Sandbox.
Details of the NFT Party Passes
There will be 1000 NFT party passes available. 650 of these will be sold through The Sandbox’s Marketplace. Another 212 will be rewarded users who purchase LAND plot NFTs at the upcoming Snoop LAND sales. The remaining 212 will be distributed via airdrops. Some of these have already been given away by the CozomoMedici twitter account.
“I am always looking for new ways to connect with fans. What we have created in The Sandbox will be the future of virtual hangouts and NFT drops as well as exclusive concerts. We’ll be introducing a new set of Dogg-style NFTs to players that they can incorporate into their game experiences. This will take the online gaming experience to the next level.
A Long List Of Collaborators
Snoop Dogg joins an extensive list of collaborators who have entered into partnerships for The Sandbox. They include Atari, The Walking Dead and The Winklevoss Twins as well as the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club TFT collection. Sandbox plans to test the concept, which allows users to explore 3D spaces that LANDNFT owners can customise, monetize, and share with others.
Snoop Dogg’s NFT Wallet
Snoop Dogg’s NFT-based wallet contains more than $17 million in NFT collectibles. The main focus is on Ethereum NFTs. Nine CryptoPunks are the largest of the bunch, with one worth $4.6million. It also contains several Art Block NFTs such as Chromie Squiggles or Fragments from an Infinite Feld. Rare Pepes are also included in the collection, which were NFT releases that were first issued on the Bitcoin-based counterparty.
