Though the number of active web3 gamers is down this past week, the number of alpha and beta playtest for web3 games continues to grow! The top NFT collections also saw significant growth this week, with several new faces making a mark for themselves on our charts!
Need more alpha? How about free to play weekends for Project Red? Or a play to earn experience with BattleFly? Or a public alpha for Faraway Land, a town building game that will connect to Mini-Royale. The games keep coming, so be sure to keep checking our site for the latest news on the latest alphas!
For those who like NFT mints, we have an upcoming airdrop from Phantom Galaxies, and a special, free mint for holders of NFTs for Shrapnel. And later this month, Wildcard plans to hold a special exhibition for their game, with an NFT mint coming in March.
The markets may be down, but the sentiment and excitement for web3 gaming, NFTs, and the blockchain space as a whole continues to grow. And in this space, things happen so quickly, it’s very easy to fall behind!

Active gaming numbers seem to echo the general crypto markets. And we see that again this week as we have an overall downward trend in active gamers among the top 10 projects. Planet IX and Benji Bananas took especially big hits, but otherwise, the chart still contains all of the familiar faces.

Overall the NFT markets have seen a surge, with the lowest projects on our top ten list still bringing in over $5 million worth of trading volume!
